Accessibility Statement
Last updated: March 25, 2026
1. Our Commitment
HelpByExperts is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.
2. Conformance Status
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone. While we aim for full compliance, we acknowledge that some areas of the site may not yet fully meet every WCAG 2.1 criterion. We are actively working to identify and address any gaps.
3. Measures We Have Taken
We have implemented the following measures to support accessibility on HelpByExperts: • Semantic HTML: We use proper heading hierarchies, landmark regions, and semantic elements to ensure screen readers can navigate our content effectively. • Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements (buttons, links, form fields) are accessible via keyboard navigation. Users can tab through all controls without requiring a mouse. • Color Contrast: Our color scheme is designed to meet WCAG AA contrast requirements. Text is rendered in high-contrast colors against dark backgrounds. • Alt Text: All meaningful images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked appropriately. • Focus Indicators: All focusable elements display visible focus indicators when navigated via keyboard. • Form Labels: All form inputs have associated labels or aria-labels for screen reader compatibility. • Responsive Design: Our website is fully responsive and works across devices of all sizes, including mobile phones, tablets, and desktop computers. • Text Resizing: Content is readable and functional when text is resized up to 200% in the browser.
4. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible: • Third-party content: Some embedded content from third-party services (such as the Stripe payment form) may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 standards. We work with our partners to encourage accessibility improvements. • Dynamic chat content: Our real-time chat interface may present challenges for some screen readers due to the dynamic nature of incoming messages. We are exploring ARIA live regions to improve this experience. • PDF downloads: Some generated PDF documents may not be fully tagged for assistive technology. We are working to improve the accessibility of generated documents. We are actively working to address these limitations and welcome feedback on how we can improve.
5. Assistive Technology Compatibility
HelpByExperts is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies: • Screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack) • Screen magnification software • Speech recognition software • Keyboard-only navigation • Browser zoom up to 200% Our site is tested on the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge browsers.
